Meet the Staff

Christine Mullin, MPH, R.D., Network Director

Christine holds B.S. degrees in Biology and Allied Health (Clinical Dietetics) and a master's degree in Public Health from the University of Connecticut. As a Registered Dietitian, she has worked for Federal, State and Community agencies providing nutrition assessment and education. As director of the New London County WIC Program, her interest in nutrition education developed in the area of providing pertinent, understandable nutrition education to clients of varied education and language backgrounds.

As Network Director, Cris carries responsibility for staff and project oversight. She will also work on the creation and implementation of the Network’s social marketing campaign.

Steven Gauvry, Network Promoter

Steven received his B.S. Degree from the Pennsylvania State University and achieved his master's degree in Educational Administration from Shippensburg University. Prior to Steve’s work in education he spent a number of years working with disparate populations in the southern United States, in Mexico, and in Central America. His experience in the field of education includes fourteen years as a secondary school teacher and eight years as a secondary school administrator.

As Network Promoter, Steve seeks to bring additional resources - both human and financial - to the Network. He also carries responsibility for staffing many of the internal functions of the Network

Linda Kronheim, MS, Network Nutritionist

Linda holds a master's degree in Nutritional Sciences from Penn State University. Prior to joining the PA NEN, she worked as a WIC nutritionist at the Family Health Council of Central Pennsylvania. Previous work experiences also included teaching cooking classes and facilitating programs for teenagers.

As the Network Nutritionist, Linda shapes the educational message of the Network. She also carries responsibility for the facilitating the SNAP team, helping with the programmatic planning of professional development activities and updating members on current relevant nutrition news.

Julie Masteller, Events and Publications

Julie holds a B.S. degree in Accounting and a B.A. degree in French from Messiah College. In addition to past positions in accounting and sales, she has participated in international educational programs and volunteered for and organized several local charity events.

Julie coordinates and plans the Network’s professional development events, including seminars, workshops and the annual conference. She also carries responsibility for Network publications, including the newsletter, resource booklets, databases and promotional materials.
