PANA nrg Summit - Powered by Choice

Beth Holmes, PANA

For teens and adults who want to take the lead in creating local changes that make healthy eating and physical activity fun and easy, this nrg Summit is for you!

Taking place at the Willow Valley Resort in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on September 25, this dynamic conference will put PANA partners face-to-face with companies and experts that offer the technologies and insights they need to promote and implement healthy changes through nrg - Powered by Choice™ or any PANA campaign.

What is nrg?

nrg is named for the text version of the word “energy.” It refers to the ability or capacity to do work or to produce change; more specifically, it is an innovative cause campaign for teens to lead change for more balanced nutrition and activity choices.

If you are like most teens, you know that what you do and eat has a direct impact on your health, energy level, performance, and appearance. You know it makes sense to do the right thing, but you want to do it in your own way.

nrg lets you and your friends do just that—create and promote a healthy lifestyle in your own way, based on choice and balance.

The nrg Summit kicks off with an energetic keynote address from three-time Olympic gymnast Dominique Dawes, bringing her message of utilizing your unique talents to make healthy changes and personal dreams a reality. Breakout sessions will then give teens and adults the skills and techniques for spreading the nrg message and leading healthy changes. Exhibits will feature cool stuff from Apple, FlagHouse, HOPSports, Snyder's of Hanover, Kellogg's, and more!

Registration is open to both individuals and groups/teams/classes. But don't wait—the registration deadline is September 14, and rooms at the conference rate are filling up. Learn more and register today at www.hmc.psu.edu/ce/nrgsummit.
