October 25, 2006—Great Pennsylvania Apple Crunch
The Great Pennsylvania Apple Crunch is one of PANA’s annual events that focuses on healthy food choices and Pennsylvania produce. Apple recipes can be featured in the cafeteria while apple tastings and other apple-oriented events and activities can run throughout the day. Communities are also encouraged to join in by supporting the school’s event, providing apples to their employees and customers, by featuring apples on restaurant menus and by voicing their support for healthy food and beverage choices in schools and communities.
